After collating the results from our survey of possible names the most preferred (with over 70% of the vote) was;

“Association of Rangers and Conservationists, Victoria” (ARC Vic).

We now intend to propose a special resolution and hold a special general meeting to vote on changing our name from ‘The Victorian Rangers Association’ to the ‘Association of Rangers and Conservationists, Victoria’.

This is a major change for our association and as such requires at least 75% of financial members to vote for this change at a special general meeting. The committee firmly believe that a change of name is essential to grow and strengthen our association.
