The Association of Rangers and Conservationists invites you, our members and friends to our Ranger Rendezvous 2023!
With a range educational and inspirational speakers, our emotionally healthy Rangers workshop presented with the Global Leadership Foundation, walks and social activities across 3 days in Wilsons Promontory National Park, Victoria, it is going to be a great opportunity to come together. The event will also celebrate World Ranger Day with Amanda Dudgeon completing her amazing Walking the Thing Green Line Oceania expedition and we will hear the legend herself and some of her great supporters – The Thin Green Line, Atomos Global and the Royal Society of Victoria speaking about the amazing journey she has completed. We will be holding a raffle and possible auction to raise funds for the Oceania Ranger Fund and hopefully contribute to getting participants from across Oceania to attend the 2024 World Ranger Congress in France.
ACCOMMODATION and CATERING
Parks Victoria has kindly made three Group Lodges available free of charge. You’ll need to bring your own linen, sleeping bags, pillows, towels etc. There is a $50 fee to attend, which will cover catering over the 3 days.
This shared accommodation will be available on the evening of Friday 28 July, Saturday 29 July and Sunday 30 July, for the first 54 people who express their interest in attending.
Participants who would prefer to camp or stay in private accommodation can do so but will need to make those arrangements and cover any associated costs personally.
